About Tim’s Paving

Tim

My business, Tim Paving Inc.was founded in May 2002 when I, Timmy Bossé, as owner, became a contractor in partnership with my parents, Conrad and Claudette Bossé.

At that time, my parents already owned a small excavation business.

I grew up surrounded by trucks, backhoes and bulldozers. I learned as a young boy how to operate heavy construction equipment.

My father was very strict, but I appreciate the fact that he helped me learn how to competently operate heavy equipment and provide excellent customer service.

This is the origin of my success with Tim’s Paving Inc.today.

The two businesses Conrad A. Bossé Excavation and Tim’s Paving Inc. merged in April 2007.

There was a period of adaptation necessary to operate the larger business. During this time, the main sectors of activity were asphalt paving, excavation and snow removal.

The business had always been located on Lynch Road in the Baisley area of St-Jacques. where the family home I grew up in was located.

As the business expanded and the costs of travelling into the city several times a day became more expensive, I made the decision to set up operations in the city. In January of 2015, I contacted the city of Edmundston to purchase a property in the North Industrial Park near IPL Plastics.

To my surprise my request was refused because my business did not meet the requirements for the park. I was certainly frustrated and disappointed.

But as the saying goes “Nothing happens for nothing”, I contacted an acquaintance involved in urbanism who sent me to see a businessman with property for sale in the Republic Industrial Park. I could not believe that I would be able to buy a 10,000 square foot building.

Therefore, on April 15, 2015, I became the owner the old Pro-Truss building, located at 30 Murchie Street in Edmundston, not far from the municipal garage.

This three-acre property and building had been abandoned for several years. I had to do a lot of work to have a good yard and functional garage. Several years later, moving to this location is the best thing that has happened to my operations.

The business is now prospering and offers a wide range of products and services for the construction industry.
