About Glenwood Auto Service
Our motto from the beginning has been “service is our discount”.
Jim Scott started the company in 1973 when he purchased and took over a struggling Esso service station at the corner of 8th Street and Preston Avenue in Saskatoon. Glenwood Esso was born.
Between 1973 and 1988 Glenwood grew from three to five service bays, and became well-known in Saskatoon for their outstanding service in the bays and at the gas pumps. Jim stayed at this location until 1988.
Glenwood Auto Service opened its doors at its new location on the corner of College Drive and Central Avenue in Sutherland on July 4th, 1988.
In 2002 Jim retired and his oldest son, Rob, who had worked with him since 1995, took over the business.
With Rob in charge, Glenwood’s commitment to superior customer service has remained the same.
Glenwood Auto Service continues to expand under Rob’s leadership and has grown from 16 employees in 2002, to 28 employees in 2012.
